Joe Graham toured with the Ventures and the US Navy Steel Band in 1967… No wait; I watched them at a Navy Relief Festival in Texas when I was 10! I joined Mojo after a long and storied career as an accomplished shower singer. They needed me because I wasn’t afraid to make a fool of myself in front of a crowd and I had access to sound equipment that the previous singer took with him when he moved on! My musical talents pretty much match all other aspects of my life in so far as I’m willing to try anything at least once and that’s probably why I own 3 guitars, 2 keyboards, 1 mandolin, a broken fiddle, a button accordion, and 2 nose flutes! I play all of them with equal vigor and limited talent! My most memorable brush with musical fame is Greg Ondo, the best damn bass player in the world and world class music engineer to the stars! Oh yeah, my Mom always said Elvis kissed my forehead at a gas station in Texas when I was a baby, I don’t remember it but it probably inspired me seek a career in the performing arts!
